Bemidji Advanced Dental Technology & Services

Progressive Solutions Designed for Greater Efficiency & Accuracy

Dental technology has changed a lot over the last 20-30 years. Innovations are constantly being developed, allowing dentists to incorporate the latest devices for improved patient satisfaction. At Bemidji Dental Clinic, our team is committed to continuing education and providing our patients with comfortable and precision-based dentistry. This is why we use many great technologies during treatment, all of which you can read about below.

Nitrous Oxide

Keeping patients calm while in the treatment chair is important to our team, which is why we offer nitrous oxide. Its mild effects are often just enough to turn anxious patients into relaxed individuals who remain comfortable and at ease throughout their appointment. The odorless and colorless gas is pushed through a nasal mask and inhaled, creating a calming effect that quickly dissipates once the mask is removed. Within minutes, a person will begin to feel like their normal self and be free to resume regular activities after their visit.

CBCT Scanner

Our Sirona CBCT scanner is a widely popular device that produces high-resolution images and brings them together to form a single three-dimensional model. Showing a patient’s mouth, head, and neck, our dentists can see intricate details that make treatment planning for dental implants, root canals, and other complex procedures much easier.

CEREC Same-Day Crown Technology

Faster dental restoration is possible, thanks to our CEREC same-day dental crown technology. Using all-digital impressions, this unique system allows our dentists to produce a 3D model that can be quickly turned into a viable and durable dental crown in a single appointment. There are no back-and-forth trips to the dentist’s office, and temporary crowns are no longer necessary. Instead, CEREC produces faster results so that patients can get back to life as normal.

Intraoral Cameras

Intraoral cameras make it easy for patients to see the same thing our dentists see. The high-resolution images and real-time viewing allow us to deliver more thorough patient education while also identifying problem areas in their earliest stages. Instead of trying to convey what we see when looking inside a patient’s mouth, this small device projects it, effectively removing the guesswork that existed before.
